Manchester United travel to West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday evening, just two -and-a-half days after our home loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
The Hammers are fifth in the Premier League off the back of a three-match winning streak and have had the week off since their 2-1 win over Aston Villa last weekend.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a huge game away to RB Leipzig on Tuesday, needing to avoid defeat to qualify for the Champions League knockout stages. At the same time we head into the weekend only two points outside of the top four.
Here is the team I think the boss will put out at the London Stadium:
Goalkeeper: David de Gea
Picked up a knock versus Southampton last weekend but recovered in time to face PSG so David de Gea should continue in goal this weekend too.
Defence: Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Eric Bailly, Harry Maguire, Brandon Williams
Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire never get rested so I expect them to maintain their places for both this game and midweek. Eric Bailly returned to the bench on Wednesday so could get a start to give Victor Lindelof a rest. Likewise, Alex Telles has started a few of late so Brandon Williams could give him a breather at left-back.
Midfield: Donny van de Beek, Fred, Paul Pogba
Fred will be suspended at RB Leipzig so should start this one in front of the back four. I can see both Donny van de Beek and Paul Pogba starting alongside him, though the Dutch international could be saved for midweek.
Attack: Mason Greenwood, Anthony Martial, Daniel James
Marcus Rashford is a doubt with a shoulder injury and even if he is fit he simply needs to be saved for the bigger game. Anthony Martial should move into the central striker role with Edinson Cavani dropping out. Mason Greenwood and Daniel James could therefore come into the starting lineup.
Here’s our team on paper:
