Confirmed lineups: Man Utd vs PSG

Manchester United host Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League this evening needing to avoid defeat to book our place in the second round.

We were 2-1 winners in the French capital to kick off our group and are three points ahead of both PSG and RB Leipzig heading into matchday 5.

The two teams for this evening’s game at Old Trafford are confirmed as:

Manchester United

Substitutes: Dean Henderson, Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Eric Bailly, Brandon Williams, Nemanja Matic, Donny van de Beek, Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Daniel James, Odion Igalho

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named an attacking lineup with former PSG striker Edinson Cavani supported by Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Bruno Fernandes.

Scott McTominay and Fred will sit in front of the back four with Nemanja Matic, Donny van de Beek and Paul Pogba all among the substitutes. This central midfield trio are joined by the returning Jesse Lingard and Eric Bailly.

Paris Saint-Germain

Keylor Navas; Alessandro Florenzi, Marquinhos, Presnel Kimpembe, Abdou Diallo; Leandro Paredes, Danilo, Marco Verratti; Kylian Mbappe, Moise Kean, Neymar

Substitutes: Sergio Rico, Alexandre Letellier, Thilo Kehrer, Colin Dagba, Timothee Pembele, Layvin Kurzawa, Mitchel Bakker, Idrissa Gueye, Ander Herrera, Bandiougou Fadiga, Rafinha, Angel Di Maria

Thomas Tuchel names a 4-3-3 for the visitors, with Leandro Parades the only real attacking threat outside of the front three. Alessandro Florezni will bomb forward from right-back though and has a decent long-range shot on him.

Centre-back Marquinhos is a threat from dead ball situations whilst former Manchester United duo Angel Di Maria and Ander Herrera are among the substitutes.

Moise Kean will play as the striker, flanked by Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.

Unfortunately, betting experts Premiership Tips are predicting a PSG win this evening. Fingers crossed they are wrong for a change!
