Man Utd’s FA Cup 3rd round opponent confirmed

The draw for the 2020-21 English FA Cup third round was made on Monday.

Eighth tier Marine FC have been the story of the early stages of the cup so far and have been rewarded with a tie at home to Premier League leaders Tottenham Hotspur in January.

Manchester United have also been drawn at home, and will take on EFL Championship promotion hopefuls Watford at Old Trafford.

The Hornets were relegated from the Premier League last season and we were only able to take three points from the Hertfordshire side. They came in our second meeting; a comfortable 3-0 home win.

Matches are set to take place across the weekend of Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 January 2021.

Our first fixture of 2021 is set to be Aston Villa on the opening weekend, and with no midweek fixture we will have a full week’s rest before our first match of this season’s FA Cup, prior to traveling to Fulham in the Premier League the following Tuesday.
