Manchester United ran out commanding 4-1 winners over Istanbul Basaksehir in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Victory keeps us top of Group H and leaves us needing just one point against either Paris Saint-Germain or RB Leipzig to reach the knockout stages.
Bruno Fernandes got the scoring underway in the seventh minute with a stunning 20-yard half volley.
The game was basically over 12 minutes later when Istanbul goalkeeper Mert Gunok spilled the ball for the Portuguese superstar to tap home from inside the six-yard box.
An excellent long pass from Victor Lindelof set Marcus Rashford away down the right wing. The England forward was eventually tripped inside the penalty area. He stepped up to convert for 3-0 before half-time.
The visitors did get a consolation 15 minutes from time when Deniz Turuc’s free kick managed to beat David de Gea. The Spaniard got hands on the ball to palm it away but it had already crossed the goalline.
Donny van de Beek was one of the star performers on the night and his through ball released Mason Greenwood to setup fellow substitute Daniel James for our fourth in stoppage time.
