Ole had this to say about Shaw following Derby win

Manchester United were comfortable 3-0 wins at Pride Park against Derby County in the FA Cup fifth round on Thursday night.

Luke Shaw opened the scoring shortly after the half hour mark, followed by goals from Odion Ighalo in either half to book our place in this season’s quarter-finals.

We will face Norwich City at Carrow Road on either Saturday 21 or Sunday 22 March.

BT Sport co-commentator Steve McManaman gave the man of the match award to Luke Shaw. The left-back was a constant threat when bombing forward. As well as scoring the opening goal, he setup the second and almost scored a second of his own by for scuffing his right-footed effort from seven yards following a good burst into the penalty area.

Speaking in his post-match interview, United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had the following to say about the 24-year-old:

“He’s coming on, Luke, he’s getting better and better and he’s in good form now, at left-back or left centre-back. Of course after his injuries he’s worked hard and he deserves it.”

Luke Shaw can expect to retain his place in the starting lineup when we host Manchester City in the derby on Sunday.

Shaw, Victor Lindelof, Scott McTominay, Fred and Bruno Fernandes all started against the Championship side yesterday, whom could all be expected to start again this weekend. Anthony Martial got a late run out from the bench too.
