Confirmed lineups: Tranmere vs Man Utd

Manchester United are at League One strugglers Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup fourth round this afternoon.

After overcoming Wolverhampton Wanderers in the previous round, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping to avoid humiliation at Prenton Park.

Tranmere came from 0-3 down to draw at Watford in the third round before beating them in a replay on Thursday night.

Ole has gone with a back three as Phil Jones gets a rare start in front of cup goalkeeper Sergio Romero. Diogo Dalot and Luke Shaw will bomb forward in wing back roles whilst Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial will support striker Mason Greenwood.

Eric Bailly is fit enough to make the bench alongside youngsters Brandon Williams and Tahith Chong, and experienced goalkeeper Lee Grant.

37-year-old midfielder Neil Danns is formerly of Blackburn Rovers, Birmingham City and Crystal Palace. Alongside him is David Perkins who is the same age.

Tranmere’s bench includes youngsters Rushian Hepburn-Murphy and Kane Wilson on loan from Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion respectively.
