According to British media reports, Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea are both keen on signing Tanguy Ndombele.
The Daily Mirror is stating in its report that both of the English Premier League sides are keeping close tabs on the Lyon midfielder as the winter transfer window draws closer.
It is suggested in the same media report that both English clubs are now competing with defending champions Manchester City for the signature of the Frenchman.
As per the same report, Manchester United and Chelsea both sent their respective scouts to watch him play when they played Hoffenheim in the UEFA Champions League a week ago.
The report also credits Tottenham Hotspur with transfer interest in the highly rated midfielder.
He has been in good form for the Ligue 1 side so far this campaign, creating four assists in 11 League matches for Lyon to help them climb to fourth position on the log – as predicted by Ligue 1 Tips.
The midfielder has also scored once in three UEFA Champions League group stage matches so far this season, including a goal in the 3-3 draw with German side Hoffenheim a week ago.
The Red Devils are likely to be connected with a lot of players ahead of the winter transfer window as manager Jose Mourinho considers beefing up his team following a poor start to the new Premier League season.
The Blues could also be looking to land some new players in the New Year, despite Chelsea having made a good start to life under new tactician Maurizio Sarri following his appointment as head coach in July.
