Deal Almost Agreed: Man United agree to complete move for 22-year-old Italian solid rock

According to reports, Manchester United are allegedly watching Italian defender, Davide Calabria, as the side seek a replacement for full full-back Antonio Valencia.

As per the latest report from Daily Mirror, United are seeking a successor for club skipper Antonio Valencia in the summer window and have penciled down AC Milan right back Davide Calabria as a likely candidate.

The Man united star is about to end his ten-year relationship with the Red Devils at the end of the season when his transfer deal with the side runs out.

Recently, Interim manager of United Ole Gunnar Solskjaer dropped a major hint that the defender will leave the club in the next few months.

The Red Devils brought in a new right full-back in Diogo Dalot last summer window, but with the impending departure of the Ecuadorian and England star Ashley Young, despite having signed a new one-year deal, entering the tail end of his career, United are looking for fresh players in that position.

As a result, the Red Devils have been linked with a transfer for Rossoneri star Davide Calabria. The Italian’s representative recently confirmed interest from Old Trafford in the defender – his client and the story from the Daily Mirror claims that the Premier League giants are continuing to keep close tab on the 22-year-old.

The full back is a product of the AC Milan academy, bursting onto the senior squad in 2015, and has since prove himself as a regular figure in the first-team in the past seasons.

So far, he has played 79 games for AC Milan – 27 of those appearances have come in the current season – scoring on two occasions and assisting five more goals.
