Portuguese media outlets are reporting the Red Devils recent contact with the agent of highly rated captain of Sporting Lisbon Bruno Fernandes.
The reports emanated from famous Portuguese publication A Bola, as cited by British outlet Daily Mail, is suggesting that United have displayed interest in Bruno, 24.
In the same article, it was reported that Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon would be willing and ready to accept a huge-money bid for the transfer of their captain.
As per the same report, Merseyside club and current Premier League leaders Liverpool have also shown interest in the Portuguese sometime in the past.
He Lisbon skipper has found the net on 11 occasions and has created seven assists in 21 matches in Liga NOS to assist Sporting bounce back from a tough spell on and off the field.
