Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is waiting to know how serious the thigh injury of Paul Pogba is, as per reports
According to British media reports, the Red Devils have sent creative midfielder Paul Pogba for scans to know the extent of the injury the world class midfielder sustained during the 2-all draw with Burnley on Tuesday evening.
As per British media reports, Metro is claiming that the France international midfielder was due to have a key scan on Thursday to examine the situation and that the Red Devils are “fearing” that the FIFA World Cup winner has sustained a thigh injury.
A potential injury for the midfielder would come as a major blow for the Red devils, as Paul Pogba, 25, has been in fantastic form since interim Norwegian boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge at Manchester United last month.
Paul Pogba has netted six goals and created four assists in eight matches under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Manchester United will be hoping that the player’s injury woes are not too severe.
It remains to be known whether the former Juventus star will be very fit for the Red Devil’s encounter with former Premier League champions Leicester City in the League on Sunday.
Their 2-all draw with Premier League Burnley at home in midweek left Manchester United in sixth position in the English Premier League log and two points adrift fourth placed north London giants Arsenal with 14 matches remaining to play this term.
