Premier League side Man United are interested in securing a deal to land 14-year-old midfielder Isak Hansen-Aaroen, as per reports.
The Red Devils are leading the transfer race to complete the signature of Norwegian youngster Isak Hansen-Aaroen, as per reports emanating from Norway.
Norwegian outlet Aftenposten, as cited by the Manchester Evening News, is claiming that United have already opened negotiations with Hansen-Aaroen’s present team, Tromso.
The same report suggests that the Red Devils hope to fend off stiff competition from English Premier League giants Liverpool and rivals Everton in the transfer race to complete the signing of the teenager.
The report also claim that the director of football of Tromso’s , Svein-Morten Johansen, and it’s secretary, Kristian Hoydal, are to travel to the City of Manchester to continue discussions as negotiations continues.
The same report states that the starlet can only sign a pre-contract agreement with the Premier League club due to his tender age. However, the teenager would be cleared to leave the club once he is 16.
The article also claim that Hansen-Aaroen is a boyhood fan of Manchester United, which if correct, could surely make talks easier for the Red Devils.
Isak Hansen-Aaroen is a versatile attacking midfielder and in the same report, it is reported that he was at Liverpool two years ago for trials after his wonderful displays at the Audi Cup caught the attention of scouts.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils are presently preparing for their home tie against Brighton and Hove Albion in the English Premier League on Saturday at Old Trafford.
