Deal Almost Agreed – Zinedine Zidane set to join Manchester United as club chief meet boss in Dubai

French boss Zinedine Zidane met with Manchester United ambassadors whilst on vacation with his family in far-away Dubai, the former Real Madrid tactician has been strongly linked with the vacant job at Old Trafford.

The former Real Madrid midfielder met with former Man United defender and his ex- international colleague Mikael Silvestre in the City of Dubai. Mikael Silvestre represented the Red Devils for nine-years, the Frenchman won the English Premier League title on four occasions as well as lifting the Emirates FA Cup, League Cup including the UEFA Champions League in 2007/08.

Silvestre presently works as Manchester United ambassador and this photo will spark speculation that Zinedine Zidane to Manchester United is edging ever closer.

As per The Sun, Zizou is on Red Devils wishlist. He was hugely successful during his spell at Santiago Bernabeu and it seems as though the top two transfer targets for Manchester United are Zinedine Zidane and Tottenham Hotspurs manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The Guardian reports that Mauricio Pochettino is a major target for both Manchester United and Zidane’s previous side Real Madrid.

The South American will have tough choice on his table should either team agree a deal with Spurs for his signature.
Man United ambassador Silvestre uploaded a picture of the two to his personal Instagram page earlier:

Norwegian tactician Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was named Manchester United’s interim bossaker boss for the remainder of the current campaign following the sacking of Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho as Manchester United manager but the team will have to work harder from now until the end of the season in order to chose the right coach to take charge of the side permanently.
