According to widespread media reports, 20-times English Champions Manchester United are alleged to be preparing a £40 million offer for Italian Serie A side Napoli defender Faouzi Ghoulam ahead of the forth coming winter transfer window which reopens in few months time.
The 27-year-old full-back has played over 150 mathes for the Serie A side since making a move to Stadio Sao Paolo from French Ligue 1 club Saint-Etienne back in 2013.
According to Napoli based Radio station Radio Kiss Kiss Naples, an offer of £40 million has been submitted for the defender by Manchester United with a move expected to be completed by New Year when the mid-season transfer window opens in January.
However, it is being widely claimed that the stance to let the African star depart the club will be a tough one to make by the Serie A giants because of his tremendous impact in the dressing room including the fact that they have got no key replacement yet for the North African star.
