According to reports, Premier League giants Manchester United have allegedly shown that they are willing to submit a bid for Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin.
The 20-time English Champions were speculated with an offer for the Uruguay international defender in the summer window, however, it was suggested that any interest was only shown to seal a better deal for Godin at his La Liga club.
However, the 32-year-old defender is still yet to pen the new terms at the club and as per reports credited to The Mirror, Manchester United are set to try once again to lure him to Old Trafford in the January transfer window.
According to reports emanating from Spain, the South American is in advanced negotiations with the Madrid based club, but it looks like United are set to show that they would gladly welcome the opportunity to sign the world-class no.2.
