Deal Agreed!!! Barcelona to sell unhappy winger to Man Utd in surprise January deal

According to the Metro, 20-time English champions Manchester United have received a massive boost in their hunt of Barcelona attacker Malcom after the club chief executive Oscar Grau claimed he might be offloaded.

The winger sealed a £36 million move to the club in the summer after several months of being tracked by Arsenal.

The Red Devils had been strongly linked with the 21-year-old all through the summer window, but the Brazilian ended up in the La Liga instead.

However, the South American has only made two appearances as a subject so far this campaign and seems not to be in the plans of manager Ernesto Valverde as the ex-Athletic Bilbao coach has previously referred to Malcom as a ‘signing of the club’.

His representative disclosed earlier in the month that the winger was unhappy about his current situation at the side.

‘Every footballer requires a time of adaptation and playing minutes on the field to prove their worth to the manager,’ Minguella informed RAC1.

‘Malcom hasn’t had those minuted yet, but he will prove his worth when he gets the chance play. ‘The player doesn’t like the current situation, but he is extremely focused and well motivated.’

Manchester United still retain keen interest in him and as per reports emanating from Spain they have asked about the possibilities of taking the forward either temporarily or permanently in the New Year.

The Spanish media report that Barcelona chief Grau now feels that the South American will be offloaded after failing to get regular playing time they had expected the player would.
