According to latest wide spread media reports, Manchester United World-class pair pair Anthony Martial and David De Gea are allegedly using Alexis Sanchez’s weekly pay as a guide in their own contract talks with the Old Trafford side.
Chilean international forward Alexis Sanchez joined the Red Devils from North London giants Arsenal in the Winter Transfer Window, with the Manchester United luring the former Barcelona star to Old Trafford with a lucrative transfer deal which sees the South American earn £400,000 weekly and another £75,000 for every match played.
The 20-time English champions are in the process of tying the duo of David De Gea and Anthony Martial down to a fresh deal right now, but The Mirror suggests that they are having issues due to Alexis Sanchez’s huge earnings.
The Chilean’s contract terms have further increased the contract demands of other club players, with the goalkeeper believed to be demanding £300,000-weekly offer so as to reflect his ‘big’ status as one of the best goalkeepers in the World.
France international Martial, meanwhile, is thought to have turned down one offer from the Red Devils already despite the side being ready to double his £70,000 weekly pay.
Both Man United stars have deals which will run out next summer, but which also include a clause to extend them by another 12 months.
In other transfer news, Manchester United have allegedly shown their interest in completing the signing of Juventus and morocco international defender Medhi Benatia in what might be a decent move to fortify their defence in the New Year.
