“He is still miles off” – Stan Collymore makes Martial and Kylian comparism; Man United fans stunned!

Stan Collymore feels Anthony Martial of Manchester United is still a long way adrift Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe.

Anthony Martial has often attempted to go on a prolific streak of form but his biggest problem has been consistency over a couple of months in recent campaigns.

Last month was a good month for him after he got on the score sheet on four ocassions in three Premier League matches to help his side remain unbeaten.

The France international forward won a penalty before he scored in a 2-1 victory over Merseysider’s Everton a week ago to earn numerous plaudits for a brilliant display.

The 22-year-old continued his immpressive run of form with an equalising goal in Manchester United’s 2-1 win over AFC Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon to score in his four consecutive matche.

However, the ex Lyon star was heavily criticised by his head coach in the second stanza of the 2017-18 campaign, as he started 18 matches and made 12 appearances from the bench.

Didier Deschamps, his National team manger, decided to leave the youngster out of his France team for the WFIFA orld Cup as les Bleus lifted the global showpeice.

Meanwhile, his colleague and former Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe won the global competition less than 12-months after surpassing Anthony Martial as the most costly teenager in the world.

Jose Mourinho’s critics have blame the Portuguese tactician’s unwillingness to give the starlet an opportunity to shine as one of the key reasons for the player’s decline.

While Collymore feels Jose Mourinho cannot take credit for Anthony Martial’s recent good form, the Liverpool legend wants to see more good displayes from the French man.

Martial’s transfer to Old Trafford back in the 2015 summer window came as a shock after Manchester United spent £36m to sign the France international forward from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco.
