Deal Close!!! Man United to replace World best Goalkeeper with 26-year-old Mat Ryan

Premier League giants Manchester United are weighing up a move for Brighton goalkeeper Mat Ryan as the side become increasingly sure of losing Spain international shot stopper David De Gea, who is out of deal at the end of the campaign, though the side will trigger a one year extension clause in his deal if he refuses not pen a new contract before January.

Manchester United had been sure of tying David De Gea down to new contract, but the turmoil at Old Trafford has convinced the 27-year-old safe hand that there’s little to benefit from deciding right now.

The Red Devils have not given up hope of tying the Spaniard to a new deal but have been forced into seeking replacements, and Mat Ryan is thought to be heading their wish list, according to the Sun.

The Australian international joined Brighton, known as the Seagulls from La Liga giants Valencia back in 2017 for about £5 million and has about three-and-a-half-years remaining on his current contract at the south coast club, but the 26-year-old goalie would be keen on a switch to the Theater of Dreams.

The 20-times English Champions could be forced into offloading the former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper this summer window if he confirms he will not agree a fresh contract at the cub.

Italian champions Juventus are reportedly highly interested in signing the Spain international goalkeeper and are willing to make the arguably the best goalkeeper in the Premier League the second highest paid footballer at the Serie A club behind summer signing Cristiano Ronaldo.
