Premier League giants Manchester United seem all set to bring Belgium international striker Romelu Lukaku back into the starting line-up to take on AFC Bournemouth in the League this Saturday.
The player that will possibly make way in attack will be England international youngster Marcus Rashford after the forward failed to make meaningful impact in the Everton match a week ago, as per the Daily Mirror.
This seems to be a huge blow for the young forward, who has been talked up bu several pundit as a natural number 9, rather than a wide man or wing-forward where he’s had to forcefully play for much of his playing time under manager Jose Mourinho.
The 21-year-old attacker first broke onto the football scene back in the 2015/16 campaign on playing as a centre-striker, but it’s fair to state he’s never looked as convincing again since that time.
While there’s still more than enough time for the striker to fulfill his immense potential, it’s damning that the forward is now looking ready to be out of the team even when World cup striker Romelu Lukaku has been playing so poorly of recent.
The Belgium international number 9 was dropped to the substitute bench against Merseyside club Everton and didn’t really impress when he was called upon later in the encounter.
Still, it seems the former Real Madrid, Chelsea and Inter Milan boss is ready to put his trust in his striker once again after Marcus Rashford’s inability to convince in last week’s massive audition count.
