Deal Almost Agreed – Man United lead race to complete move for €80million World Cup winner

According to widespread media reports, Premier League giants Manchester United are allegedly one of the teams ‘well positioned’ to complete the move of Real Madrid superstar Toni Kroos.

While it’s not very crystal clear what this language translation from Don Balon‘s claim means, it suggests the Red Devils are set to pounce for the midfield maestro, whom the Spanish publication states is keen on a transfer to the English Premier League.

The report suggests the Germany international midfielder could cost as much as €80million, which seems a reasonable transfer price for Manchester United to pay for one of the best footballers in the world in the midfield position.

The Champions League winners would also be ideal for the Portuguese tactician’s struggling team at the moment as a major upgrade on struggling midfield maestro like france inetrnational midfielder Paul Pogba and Brazil international Fred.

The 28-year-old German won a number of major titles in his career, winning the UEFA Champions League on four ocassions in spells at German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and La Liga heavyweights Real Madrid, including the 2014 FIFA World Cup with Germany.

Don Balon states interest from European heavyweights like Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City as well, but if the Red Devils could come out victorious in this transfer tussle it would be massive for their prospects this campaign.

This team looks to be crying out for a footballer of his experience and quality, so he seems a good fit for the squad in the second stanza of this term.
