According to reports, Premier League giants Manchester United are set to rival London giants Chelsea to sign midfielder Aaron Ramsey in the summer window.
The Star on Sunday, as cited by the Daily Express, is claiming that the Wales international midfielder is attracting a lot of interest from Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge.
The same report states that United are interested in signing the midfield maestro, who will become a free agent when the current season ends.
However, the Red Devils will face stiff competition from European giants like Juventus, Chelsea, Valencia and AC Milan to land the versatile midfielder to strengthen their midfield options, as per the article.
As per the same report, the midfielder will become a free agent later in the summer after the Gunners opted to pull out off negotiations as regards a new deal with the ex-Cardiff star.
The 27-year-old Arsenal star was in talks with his club and the negotiations looked to progress as Arsenal looked to avoid losing another top player on a free transfer.
However, the Gunners are under new management following changes at the Emirates boardroom and manager level in the last couple of months to usher in a fresh era at the club.
He has started six of their 10 matches in the League this season, while the player has played a further four matches from the bench.
He has netted a goal and has provided three assists in a total of 524 minutes of English Premier League football in the present campaign.
