Man Utd team news: 4-2-3-1 Formation; Predicted Starting XI to face Juventus

Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez joins a couple of regular starters who will miss the club’s UEFA Champions League encounter with Serie A champions Juventus.

The Chile international forward came off the substitute bench in Saturday’s draw at Premier League rivals Chelsea but missed training with the group on the eve of the crunch Group H tie.

Defender Phil Jones, midfielder Marouane Fellaini, Jesse Lingard, Diogo Dalot, and Scott McTominay also missed the training session and are ready to miss action. Team Captain Antonio Valencia returns to contention after recent oral surgery.

Portugal international forward Cristiano Ronaldo is sure he will be effectively cleared of rape allegation, with the Juventus star declaring that he is a “happy man” ahead of locking horns with his former club Manchester United.

The Five times ballon d’ Or winner is being sued by a lady in America, who suggest the former Real Madrid man raped her in a Las Vegas hotel back in 2009 at the penthouse suite.

The 33-year-old firmly denied the rape allegation in a recent post on Twitter and did so once again on the eve of the eagerly-anticipated Group H encounter against former side Manchester United in a shock appearance at the pre-match presser.

The Red devils come into the encounter with four points in the UEFA Champions League from two matches – a win against Young Boys and, recently, a draw with Spanish La Liga giant Valencia. Juventus, meanwhile, have come out victorious in both their matches so far – including a scintillating 2-0 victory in Valencia with 10 players.
