Anthony Martial will return to Manchester United on Thursday following the birthday of his daughter with the forward stating that “family will always come first.”
The French international left us during our tour of the United States last week for the birth of his daughter.
Anthony Martial Tweeted earlier today:
“For the mom it was harder but thanks to God she’s better now.
“Sorry but my family will always come first.”
Merci à tous pour vos messages. Mon petit Swan va bien, pour la maman ça était plus difficile mais Grâce à Dieu elle va mieux maintenant. Desolé mais ma famille passera toujours avant Tout… Retour demain à Manchester ??

Anthony Martial has been strongly linked with a move away from Old Trafford since the start of the year, added by the signing of Alexis Sanchez in January. It is also understood that Jose Mourinho would be willing to sell the 22-year-old.
However, the young forward remains at the club with only nine days left of the summer transfer window. Earlier this summer Juventus had shown strong interest but nothing appears to be developing regarding that story.
The French forward started fewer games during the second half of last season with the signing of Sanchez on a free transfer from Arsenal.
Louis van Gaal brought Martial to Manchester United in a deal worth £36 million in 2015. He is now in the final year of his contract, but we do have the opportunity to extend that by a further season should we not sell him this summer.
