Manchester United are set to lunch an audacious bid for German International, Toni Kroos. Mourinho have identified the playmaker to bring out the best of Paul Pogba. Although Real Madrid has placed a value around €120m for the 28-year-old, United will be desperate to add quality to their team in order to compete against top six in the coming season.
Toni Kroos vision and defense splitting passes would remind Old Trafford of Paul Scholes. The German would be a perfect replacement for Micheal Carrick who retired last season to join the United Coaching staff.
According to Dailystar, United are said to be reluctant to offer more than €80m though for Kroos but a new challenge might see the Champions League winner join United.
Mourinho is keen on bringing new players to his fold. The Portuguese has also opened up on his plans for the rest of the window. He opined “One thing is what I would like,” he told ESPN FC. “Another thing is what is going to happen. When quizzed about the number of new signings to expect, the tactician had this to say, “I would get two more players.”
United finished behind City rivals last season, and both players, coach and the club would like to have a perfect pre-season and a good deals in the transfer market to compete against the best.
