Lingard, Bailly & Mata Start: Manchester United vs Crystal Palace Possible Line-up

After a well-deserved victory over arch rival Chelsea over the weekend, Manchester United will take a short trip to Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace on Monday night.

The Red Devils will be confident going into the game having defeated Antonio Conte’s men by 2-1 at Old Trafford last Sunday and would want to build on that momentum.

United put on a dominant performance to beat Crystal Palace by 4-0 during the first leg at Old Trafford with Marouane Fellaini scoring a brace while Juan Mata and Romelu Lukaku also finding the back of the net.

Inform Tottenham struggled to defeat the Eagles by a lone goal over the weekend. As a result, Jose Mourinho’s men must be at their best if they are to get the required maximum points at Selhurst Park.

Mourinho is expected to make few changes to the team that defeated Chelsea on Sunday. The Portuguese tactician will likely rotate his team ahead of Liverpool game.

Spain international Juan Mata will likely replace Anthony Martial in the starting line-up and play from the left flank.

Inform England star Jesse Lingard will also be expected back in the starting eleven. The 25-year old winger/midfielder started from the bench in United last game due to tactical reasons.

While Ander Herrera, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Fellaini are out of selection due to injury, Eric Bailly could make his first start in the year.

The Ivorian is expected to pair Chris Smalling at the certre of defense, while Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young plays from the right and left back respectively.

Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba are expected play at the heart of United midfield while Lukaku leads the attack.

Here is our predicted line-up with David de Gea in the goal post.
