Done Deal: £86m Manchester United Target Agrees Deal With Club Ahead Of Summer Transfer Window

Report making the rounds claims Manchester United target Antoine Griezmann has agreed a deal to sign for Barcelona in the summer.

According to the Sun, Griezmann has agreed a deal with the Catalan club. The La Liga giants will trigger his £86m release clause when the summer transfer window reopens.

The France international has been strongly linked with United for a while now.

The 26-year old forward was close to joining the Red Devils last summer but decided to stay back in Spain after Atletico Madrid transfer ban was upheld by the court.

However, United seems to have cooled their interest in the forward’s signature after securing the services of Alexis Sanchez in the summer.

The Chile international switched to Old Trafford in January transfer window in a direct swap deal involving Henrikh Mkhitaryan going to Arsenal.

Barcelona signed Brazilian star Philippe Coutinho in January but deliberately left the number 7 jersey vacant.

Report has it that Griezmann could be that player to take over the shirt when he completes his move to Nou Camp in the summer.

Report elsewhere claims that Chelsea attacking midfielder/winger Willian could be a target for United in the summer.

The Brazilian has been one of the most outstanding players for the Blues this year but has however failed to command a regular starting spot in Antoine Conte’s team.
