Manchester United and Belgium international goal poacher Romelu Lukaku has reveals reasons he snubbed Chelsea for Manchester United.
The 24-year old striker was close to making a return to Chelsea last summer before a last switch to Old Trafford took place.
Chelsea were already planning life without Diego Costa and had identify Lukaku as the ideal replacement for the Spaniard.
However, the Red Devils hijacked Chelsea deal for Lukaku and handed him a five-year deal at Old Trafford.
The Belgian forward signed for United from Everton in a £75million deal with £15million add ons.
Although it was Jose Mourinho who initially sold Lukaku to Everton in 2014 in a £28m deal while he was Chelsea’s boss, but the forward has however insisted he was not done with the Portuguese tactician yet and that he had always dream of playing under his management.

The highly talented forward has been clinical this season, having found the back of the net 19 times for in all competition.
The £200,000-a-week star however seeks to win trophies for United in the future.
