Intro 7 CL Travel Guide

The Champions League sprung a few surprises in the group stage as holders Real Madrid struggled to dominate their group which included Tottenham Hotspur, Borussia Dortmund and APOEL and had to settle on a second place finish.

Monaco crashed out of the competition, finishing bottom of Group G, with Besiktas, Porto and Leipzig all finishing about the French Ligue 1 champions. Manchester City and PSG topped their groups and lead the way in the Champions League betting odds, with City having been made favourites to win the Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup as well, although arch rivals Manchester United will certainly provide strong competition for the FA Cup.

Although there is unlikely to be much of a title race, the race for the Champions League places is worth a bet on the Premier League, as Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham all battle it out for the remaining three places.

The top six clubs all have matches in Europe and while Arsenal may be a way off the Champions League places in the league, being one of the favourites for the Europa League, they could return to the Champions League by winning the competition.

The other five all face some potentially awkward away legs in the Champions League, with trips to Spain, Switzerland, Portugal and Italy facing away fans. To help the traveling support, we have created a travel guide infographic to help those traveling away to watch their clubs.
