Manchester United could be letting off some of their players as January transfer window deadline draws closer.
Top on the list is goal poacher Zlatan Ibrahimobvic – who joined United in 2016 as a free agent from Paris Saint Germain.
The veteran goal poacher is currently out injured and has not featured for the Red Devils since Boxing day after he aggravated his knee ligament injury.
The £220,000-a-week forward has only made seven appearances for the Red Devils this season as rumours linking him from Old Trafford continue to intensify.
Speaking in a press conference ahead of a trip to White Hart Lane on Wednesday, Jose Mourinho reveals he will not stand in Ibrahimovic way if he wants to leave United.
“He told me nothing about it. The first time I read or heard something about that was from the media. He never mentioned that to me so I don’t know.
“Zlatan is in the last year of his contract. If that is true and Zlatan wants a future in another club in another country we are here to help and to create conditions for that to happen, not to make his life difficult.”
Report has it that the experience forward is a target for MLS clubs.
“The last thing that Zlatan told me was that he wants to recover totally and feel ready to help the team,” Mourinho added.
“He is working hard to be fit. He is not injured, he is in a moment of trying to feel really ready for the demands of Premier League football.”
