The transfer window may not be open again until January but that hasn’t put an end to various rumours linking players in and out of Old Trafford.
According to report in the English media, Lyon striker Nabil Fekir could end up at Manchester United in the summer.
This follows the player’s recent comment that a potential move to the Premier League could be an option in the nearest future with Manchester United, Manchester City or Arsenal a possible destination.
Asked about his favourite leagues, Fekir told French media outlet Telefoot: “Spain, with Real [Madrid], Barcelona & Atletico [Madrid] who are the big clubs.
“After that there is England: Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal. I don’t have a specific club [I want to go to].
“Is this my last season at Lyon? I don’t know what the future holds for me. I’ve still got two years left on my contract. So, I’m still Lyonnais.”
Arsene Wenger is said to be an admirer of the France attacking midfielder and it’s understood the French tactician is keen on pairing the attacker up with former Lyon team-mate Alexandre Lacazette in his team.
Jose Mourinho on the other hand is also looking forward to strengthen his attack in January.
Armenian attacking midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has fallen down the pecking order in Mourinho’s team and report now has it that he could end United nightmare with a move to Inter Milan in January.
