January transfer window is looking likely to be a busy one for Manchester United with various reports linking players in and out of Old Trafford.
Young and exciting England Under-21 striker James Wilson has revealed that he could be loaned out of United in January – paving way for interested clubs to make move for his services according to Daily Mail.
The 22-year old forward will hold talks with United officials about a potential switch away from Old Trafford to gain first team experience and playing time.
Report has it that a host of Championship sides including Sheffield United, Reading and Aston Villa are queuing for the England star signature.
The highly rated forward suffered a serious knee injury during his last loan spell at Derby County which restricted him to just four appearances for the Championship team.
Having returned to full fitness and banging goal for United Under-23 side, a move in January seems imminent.
Asked whether a loan move could be on the cards in the new year, Wilson told MUTV:
‘I don’t see why not. Obviously, the summer transfer window has gone and there was a lot of interest. But the staff all came to an agreement that I would stay until January to build on what I’ve already worked for.
‘So I think it’s certainly a possibility. We’ll just have to talk and have a few conversations with the manager and certain people around here. I’m not ruling it out but we’ll come to an agreement over what needs to be done.’
Wilson will certainly fancy a move from United in other to gain regular play time and regained his confident.
