Off To Manchester United? Man Utd Make Offer For Talented Striker Ahead Of January

Young and exciting talent Alphonso Davies has been invited by Manchester United for a trial at the club Carrington Aon Training complex.

The 17-year old star currently plies his trade at Major League Soccer, playing for Vancouver Whitecaps.

The Canadian star made his Major League Soccer debut at the age of 15 and has had since enjoy a remarkable rise in his career.

In June, Davis earned his first call-up to the Canadian national team and became their youngest ever goal scorer when he scored in the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Davies has already scored three goals in six appearances for Canada and will likely join his new team mates  at United in January.

The Liberia-born forward would need a permission from his club to travel to England, although it is understood that Whitecaps will be willing to grant such permission.

United youth team is currently made up with promising talent that would one day feature in the first team just like Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard.

United academy have been busy recruiting young talent in recent month, signing the likes of Tahith Chong, Charlie McCann and Aliou Traore.

Jose Mourinho has promised that he would give the youth team players as opportunity at the first team at the right time.
