Tottenham attacking midfielder Dele Alli is apparently top on the wish list of Jose Mourinho as he seeks to strengthen his team next summer.
According to report, Manchester United is plotting £180million bid for the Nigerian-born midfielder Dele in the summer transfer window.
Jose Mourinho has identified Alli as a perfect competition for Henrikh Mkhitaryan as the midfielder has been under-performing.
The Armenian has been linked with a return to former club Borussia Dortmund with his Manchester United future in doubt.
After being axed from United team that faced Newcastle United and Basel over the past weeks, he was recalled for last weekend match against Brighton and made a 20-minutes cameo as a second half substitute.
Alli on the other hand has been great for Tottenham. He has been able to register seven goals for the Saints this season.
The talented forward/midfielder joined Tottenham in a £5m deal in 2015 from Championship side MK Dons.
Alli may only be 21-year, but top European teams including Barcelona and Real Madrid are all interested in his services.
With speed, creativity and eye for goal, the England international might be a top signing for the Red Devils if he eventually signs for the club.
