Summer Prime Target Speaks Up On Old Trafford Move – Mourinho To Sanction Deal

Following various rumours linking France international forward Antoine Griezmann to Old Trafford, the 26-year old star has reveals he has no plan to leave Atletico Madrid in January but admitted he could join the Premiership side in the future.

The highly rated star was heavily linked with a potential switch to United last summer, but the deal failed to materialize after Atletico transfer ban until January was upheld.

Griezmann signed a new contract until the summer of 2022 but it is thought United will return for the quick and skillful forward.

The 26-year old dazzling forward revealed only the England weather could hinder his potential switch to Old Trafford.

Speaking of a potential move, Griezmann wrote in his book:

“Although I might be missing out on titles, I have everything here to be happy but that does not mean to say I won’t go one day.

“I haven’t made that decision. It all depends on various factors. I have nothing against England except for the weather. Manchester United is a possibility.

With this recent development, United may still be able to secure the services of their number prime target in the summer.

The former Real Sociedad star has struggled this season with just three goals to his name in all competitions.

United had a shocking defeat to Swiss club FC Basel  in the UEFA Champions League yesterday, but will however look to bounce back from that when they take on Premier League new boys Brighton  on Saturday in the English Premier League.
