Report claims that Manchester United are making audacious move for highly experienced Chelsea’s centre-back David Luiz.
According to the Express, the Red Devils are monitoring his current situation with the Blues and could sanction a move for the Brazilian in January transfer window.
The former Benfica defender reportedly had a fall out with Chelsea’s manager Antonio Conte after Chelsea’s were thumped 3-0 in the Champions League by Serie A side Roma, in which he questioned the manager tactics.
The result of the disagreement between both parties led to Conte dropping him for the match against Manchester United and West Brom.
Luiz returned to Chelsea for a second spell in 2016 transfer deadline day. He was key member of Conte’s team that won the league title last season, making a total of 33 league appearances.
Although report has it that Mourinho could look to pounce in January but it’s yet to be seen if Chelsea will allow the Brazilian leave during the middle of the season.
Should Conte be willing to sell Luiz, the bad blood between Mourinho and Luiz could be a hindrance for a potential switch to Old Trafford given that it was the Portuguese tactician that sold Luiz to PSG for a record fee of £50 in 2014 summer.
