Manchester United target Andrea Belotti will reportedly only sign a new deal at Torino if there is a £43 million release clause inserted into his contract.
Belotti only made his competitive debut for Torino back in September but has since become an integral member of Sinisa Mihajlovic’s side.
Torino are understood to be desperate to keep hold of their star man but would be willing to insert a release clause into his new contract should it exceed forty million pounds.
According to Italian publication Tuttosport Torino have offered the forward a new contract to stay at the club but Belotti will only put pen to paper on his new deal should a release clause be inserted into his contract meaning that should United or any club for that matter come in for him he would be free to speak to that club directly.
News of Belotti’s unrest at Torino will come as a huge boost to Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho who has reportedly been weighing up a move for the player next summer.
At just twenty two years of age Belotti stands as one of the most exciting players in European football. His superb finishing combined with his excellent reading of the game makes him a real talent and is one which would undoubtedly strengthen Manchester United’s attack.
With Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Wayne Rooney heading towards the latter stages of their footballing career Mourinho is in need of a young player who can lead the United attack for years to come and in Belotti he could be the answer.
Although the Italian is a very decent player but £43m will be a risky amount to play considering Belotti is really not an established player. However, Belotti is already looking like a future hot prospect and his signing could well turn out to be a gamble worth taking.
