Manchester United Plan Move For Harry Kane, Ready To Offer £150,000-A-Week

Manchester United are reportedly ready to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur next summer. Kane who is yet to agree a new deal at Spurs is set to be offered a contract by United taking his wages up to an estimated £150,000 a week.

Tottenham are desperate to keep hold of their star man at White Hart Lane but it is understood that the club would be willing to sell Kane should they receive a substantial offer for the player.

The 23-year-old currently earns approximately £50,000 per week at Spurs but is said to be looking to double his wages and with United seemingly willing to do just that a move to Old Trafford for the star may be on the cards sooner rather than later.

According to Squawka Mourinho sees Kane as a long term replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and is prepared to pay whatever it takes to in an attempt to lure the forward to Old Trafford.

Arguably the standout striker over the last two years there are few if any better forwards in European football than Harry Kane. His excellent finishing combined with his terrific work rate on the field makes him a real talent and is one who would undoubtedly strengthen Manchester United’s attack.

Since the days of Ruud Van Nistelrooy United have lacked a true out and out number nine up top and in Harry Kane United will be getting just that. He isn’t one of those players who will drift out wide nor drop deep in a game, he would stay in and around the penalty area waiting to take his chance to score a goal and that alone makes Harry Kane such a unique player. He is a type of striker that has become very rare in the modern game.

Should Mourinho manage to persuade Kane to link up with him at Old Trafford he would be getting a player who is about to enter his peak years as a footballer. The Portuguese wouldn’t be getting a player for the future, nor a player whose best days are behind him he would be getting a player ready for the here and now and that is exactly what Mourinho so desperately needs if he to become as success at Manchester United.
