Manchester United midfielder is reportedly open to making a return to Old Trafford in the January transfer window.
Pereira who was under 20 world cup finalist with Brazil last year has been a revelation in Spain since joining Granada back in August and has featured in ten games so far this season under coach Lucas Alcaraez.
The 20-year-old still has six months left to run on his current loan deal with the La Liga side but it is understood that Pereira would be willing to move back to United in January should he be guaranteed regular first team football.
According to the English tabloid newspaper the Daily Mirror the youngster has been in regular contact with Mourinho since he moved to Granada and that he is willing to cut his stay in Spain short to return to Manchester United.
Pereira’s trickery on the ball combined with his ability to glide past his opponent with ease makes him one of the most exciting prospects in European football and is a player who would undoubtedly strengthen Mourinho’s attacking options at the club should he choose to return to the club.
With Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney and Henrikh Mkhitaryan all ahead of the Brazilian in the pecking order at Old Trafford he would undoubtedly find it difficult to earn himself a spot in Mourinho’s starting eleven but having impressed for Granada in recent months Pereira has already shown that he is more than capable of stepping up and delivering the goods when it matters most. La Liga is highly regarded as one of the finest if not the finest league in world football and Pereira has proved that he is more than good enough to come up and play alongside some of the very best.
The Brazilian is a player who potentially could have a big future at Manchester United and is a player who Mourinho could well use to his advantage during the second half of the season.
