5th Summer Signing? Mino Raiola Working On £16m Deal For Man United

Raiola who has already played a key role in bringing Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to the club is said to have offered Balotelli to Mourinho’s men on loan with the striker reportedly keen on wanting a move to Old Trafford.

The forward has already played under Mourinho once before at Inter Milan and would love to chance to link up again with his old boss, however the Portuguese is said to be not interested in taking him on board. The former AC Milan star signed for Liverpool in 2014 for £16m.

Balotelli spent last season on loan at AC Milan from Liverpool but the forward struggled to make any sort of impact scoring at the San Siro scoring a mere three goals in all competitions.

The 26-year-old was signed by Liverpool back in the 2014 summer transfer window but his inconsistent form combined with his antics both on and off the field have left the Merseyside club wanting to get the Italian off their books as soon as possible.

He has already been turned down by Italian outfit Sassuolo and has been offered to Nantes along with Wolverhampton Wanderers with all clubs it seems not so keen on adding the Italian striker to their attacking ranks and with united set to become the latest club to turn down the forward it leaves Balotelli still in search of a new club.

Thought to be the next big thing Balotelli’s career has dramatically faded over the past few years with the striker failing to establish himself at every club his has been at Big money moves to Manchester City and Liverpool have all ended in disaster for the Italian as he was once again let his off filed antics ruin his potential.

News of Balotelli been offered to united is yet another sign of the desperation that the striker currently finds himself and it comes as no great surprise that Mourinho will probably turn him down. He is just far too big of a gamble to take and with the Portuguese looking to take Manchester United back to the top, Balotelli is the last player you want coming through the Old Trafford entrance door.

He has had his chances in the past and has failed every time and should he get another mega money move somewhere else, one can only assume that it will be the same sad story all over again.
