It seems as though the entire world has been hanging on Paul Pogba’s every word this summer. From his Instagram snaps to his tweets, people were dying to gain some sort of insight into the destination of the France national side’s most talented midfielder, and after a long and gruelling saga, Manchester United finally got their man, and were able to bring the 23-year old back to Old Trafford, four years after he’d left to join Juventus after refusing a new contract.
Pogba spoke entgustically and warmly about his return to the North West in his interviews with MUTV, repeatedly referencing the feeling that he’d ‘come home’. Having only returned to training last week after his belated summer break due to his participation in Euro 2016, Pogba wasn’t fully fit to face Bournemouth this past Sunday at Dean Court, which was helpful as a delayed suspension from his last game at Juventus in the Coppa Italia had ruled him out, anyway.
But Pogba is now expected to play some role, if not start in Friday night’s Premier League fixture with Southampton, and according to the Daily Mail, he’s spruced up his barnet for the occasion:
“Pogba could make his second United debut when Southampton visit the Theatre of Dreams on Friday night and to mark the occasion he’s dyed his mop in club colours.
The midfielder showed off his new image – which features red racing stripes through peroxide blond – on social media on Tuesday as he prepares himself for his return.”
