The first Manchester derby to take place outside of the United Kingdom has been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
A statement from Manutd.com reads as follows: “Due to recent weather events, tournament organisers and participating clubs have made the decision to cancel the International Champions Cup fixture to be played in Beijing tonight, 25 July.”

Instead, Jose Mourinho, who had been critical of the conditions for training in China this past week, and his squad will fly back to Manchester today to continue pre-season preparations at Carrington, ahead of a meeting with Galatasaray in Sweden this coming Saturday.
