Former Paris Saint Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Chelsea’s Brazilian winger Willian both fancy a move to Manchester United this summer according to The Guardian’s Jamie Jackson.
Speaking on the live blog currently running on the broadsheet’s website, Jackson states that both Willian and Ibrahimovic are keen to move to Old Trafford to be reunited with the club’s new manager Jose Mourinho.
In the case of the Swedish striker, speculation is rife on the former Internazionale, AC Milan and Barcelona hitman becoming United’s first signing under Mourinho, with Ibrahimovic particularly coy on suggestions that United would be his next club.
In Willian’s case, one of Chelsea’s few bright spots in last season’s dire title defence is said to be open to a move from Stamford Bridge, but Mourinho’s former boss and Chelsea owner is unlikely to make such a transfer easy. A fee of £50m is quoted, with William’s current contract still having two years to run.
