Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw will travel back to Manchester with his family this weekend, after a second operation that is scheduled to take place on Friday morning over in Eindhoven, according to Sky Sports News.
Luke Shaw suffered a double leg fracture during Manchester United’s 2-1 defeat to PSV Eindhoven over in the Netherlands on Tuesday night, with the England left-back going straight under the knife that evening to straighten and secure his right-leg. The first operation went to plan but a second, smaller operation is now needed and will take place on Friday.
Sky Sports have reported that Manchester United plan to fly Luke Shaw back to Manchester over the course of this coming weekend should the second surgery go to plan and if the 20-year-old has recovered well enough to travel. His Mum and Dad are currently still out with him in Eindhoven, both of whom, were at the stadium when disaster struck for their son on the pitch.
Luke Shaw had started every single game for Manchester United this season and fans considered him to be the most improved player within their squad, a shame as he looks to be out for the remainder of the season. We wish Shaw a speedy recovery.
