Louis van Gaal cast fresh doubts over the future of Radamel Falcao after the star striker was left out of the squad altogether as Manchester United lost to Southampton at home and Jorge Mendes has added further fuel to the fire.
Mendes has claimed that Falcao will be playing at a top club next year but refused to confirm whether it will be the Old Trafford club where he will be plying his trade at, as United hesitate to make a permanent move for the Columbian.
Speaking after the award to the Italian media, Mendes said:
“He’s a very good player, the Manchester United fans have a fantastic player.
He could play in any team, anything could happen. One hundred percent, will be at one of the best teams in the world, if it’s the United or not. But time is needed, we’ll see what happens.”
