Record £90million bid from United for Gareth Bale?

It is no secret that Louis van Gaal will be given a huge war-chest of money to refresh and get the best squad possible at Manchester United, and that is no different from the fresh reports that have emerged over the past 24-hours claiming that Ed Woodward and Van Gaal are ready to offer Real Madrid £90million to secure the signature of Gareth Bale, who the club were after before he moved over to Spain.

The rumours regarding Gareth Bale to Manchester United started at the start of December, and don’t seem to be going away. Bale joined Spanish giants Real Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur for a world-record fee last summer.

It was reported before he moved to Spain, that Manchester United were then happy to pay £100million plus Javier Hernandez to secure Bale’s services, but the player himself wanted the dream move over to Madrid. But now he has won the UEFA Champions League, even scoring in the final, that he may want to come back to the United Kingdom to be closer to his family in Wales, and that a move to Manchester United is not out of the question.

In today’s Daily Star, they report that Louis van Gaal will make a huge offer of £90million this coming January transfer window for Gareth Bale as he continues to mould his squad back into title contenders.
