It has to be time for Radamel Falcao to impress and start against Aston Villa on Saturday, right? As the Columbian nears full fitness, the Manchester United loanee has insisted that the level of completion between players at the club on and off the pitch is good for everyone involved.
Since joining Manchester United in the summer, Falcao has struggled with injury and is finding it hard thus far to get into Louis van Gaal’s starting XI with James Wilson starting ahead of him on the weekend against Liverpool. But with an impressive strike force, Falcao thinks the competition is healthy.
In The Express, Falcao said:
“We have a group of strikers who are very good and that’s good for everyone
“That means there is always a level of competition between us, healthy competition, and obviously I am very happy with how the team is doing.”
Manchester United face Aston Villa on Saturday in the 3pm kick-off. Falcao hopeful on a start.
