Manchester City fans are in uproar on social media after what seems to show United’s Marouane Fellaini spitting on striker Sergio Aguero after he appealed for a penalty in the first half of the the Manchester Derby on Sunday.
United lost the match 1-0, not helped by the sending off of defender Chris Smalling in the first half after a second bookable offence. The reds fought back and showed some character to try and get the equaliser but it wasn’t to be. Marcos Rojo is now the latest Manchester United injury also, dislocating his left shoulder after diving into a challenge in the second half.
Now, the Fellaini incident in real time seemed to see the United midfielder stoop down to Aguero to voice his disgust at a possible dive, but when slowed down the footage seems to reveal a spit.
We don’t think this is at all intentional, but check the video vine below and judge for yourself, did Marouane Fellaini mean to spit on Sergio Aguero?
