PICTURE: Ander Herrera Comments On Fractured Rib Injury

Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has today confirmed that due to a fractured rib in which he picked up against West Ham United on Sunday, will miss approx three-weeks of action for the reds.

Herrera went down in the 74th minute on Sunday, clutching his lower back and complaining of severe pain when Rafael da Silva attempted to pick the midfielder up to his feet.

After assessment on the pitch, Manchester United’s medical staff deemed him not fit to continue, and after scans at the start of this week, it was confirmed that Ander Herrera had fractured a rib.

Herrera took to social networking website Twitter on Tuesday afternoon after Manchester United had confirmed the injury, stating it is not a time to feel sorry for him, and he is working on getting back as soon as possible.
