What a summer it has been for Manchester United and their fans, signing some World-class players and spending money to get the club back to where they belong. After the wake up call of finishing seventh last season in the Premier League, Louis van Gaal has gone out to spend the clubs money on some top class talent for United, ending the summer transfer with Radamel Falcao from AS Monaco.
Now as a fan, some like to get their hero’s name and number on the back of their club shirt, especially when a star such as Radamel Falcao comes into your club, shirt sales rocket.
This is exactly what Manchester United fan Christopher Hagan from Belfast did, by ordering a Falcao number 9 shirt direct from United’s online megastore.
To his delight his package from Manchester arrived just a few day’s later, but upon opening he noticed that the club shop had got it wrong, very wrong. They had sent him the home shirt with FLACAO 9 on the back, a simple buy costly error in spelling from the club shop.
See a picture of the error below, Manchester United have since not commented on the error.
