Angel Di Maria has today said his goodbyes to his Real Madrid team-mates as he is set to make a record £64million move to Manchester United on Monday.
Real Madrid held a training session on Sunday morning, one that Angel Di Maria himself did not take part in but was present at the end of the session to say his goodbyes to his former team-mates before planning his trip to Manchester to complete his transfer.
Madrid manager Carlo Ancelott also confirmed after the session that it was only now a matter of time before the transfer would be announced, he said:
“Di Maria has said goodbye. We thanked him for everything he done for the club. Its not official but the matter is resolved.”
